Ezetop, a Dublin-headquartered company that enables instant global top-ups for mobile phones around the world, has won the top spot in this year’s Deloitte Technology Fast 50 awards.
Deloitte runs the awards programme to recognise indigenous technology companies on the island of Ireland that have experienced an exceptional growth in turnover over the past five years.
Deloitte announced Ezetop as the winner of the Technology Fast 50 at an awards ceremony in Dublin on Friday night as it said the company had achieved an aggregate growth rate of 6,986pc over the past five years.
Set up in 2006, Ezetop has created services to allow people living or working abroad to instantly top up mobile phones of friends and family back home. The company’s services are available from more than 350,000 retail stores in 16 countries.
Cork-based Compliance and Risks, an online provider of information on global regulatory intelligence, came second in the Deloitte Technology Fast 50 for having achieved a growth rate of 2,886pc over the past five years.
Software Asset Management Ireland took the third spot in the awards for having achieved an average growth rate of 2,428pc.
Deloitte also awarded Rising Star awards to two companies that experienced the fastest growth in turnover over the past three years. Mobile app specialist FeedHenry won for having achieved a growth rate of 2,862pc over the past three years, while Sixteen South, a Belfast-based developer and creator of children’s television programmes, won for having achieved a growth rate of 1,618pc.
