San Francisco software player Engine Yard, a leading platform-as-a-service (PaaS) player with expertise in PHP and Ruby on Rails, has revealed it is to create 30 new jobs in Dublin.
As well as the new jobs, there is potential to accelerate hiring as it looks to other markets for growth and international expansion.

“A key part of this Government’s strategy to create employment and growth in the economy is to ensure that we can build on our established base of world-leading technology companies,” the Minister for Jobs, Enterprise and Innovation Richard Bruton, TD, said this morning.
“This means ensuring that more and more dynamic and innovative international companies locate operations here, and ensuring that more indigenous companies start and expand on the back of their presence here. This announcement by yet another dynamic technology company that it is locating major global headquarters in Dublin is great news and shows that we are making real progress.”
