Ken Tormey, Chief Technology Officer

Position: Chief technology officer

Easytrip Services Ireland has announced the appointment of Ken Tormey as chief technology officer (CTO). 

In this role, Tormey will be responsible for the efficient maintenance and management of Easytrip’s technological systems and oversee the ongoing supervision of its technology hub which provides parking and tolling services. He will alsol be an integral part of the management team providing support to the CEO and board members in connection with all technology related matters, drawing on his experience gained over a number of years in the technology industry. 

Prior to joining Easytrip, Tormey worked with Card Commerce for three years in a senior technical position and was responsible for the strategy and delivery of the company’s technology roadmap.  During this time he successfully implemented a number of prepaid products and services for its key financial services customers, working closely with teams in Barclaycard, Fexco and Elavon.

Prior to Card Commerce, he was head of engineering in marrakech.com and, before that, he spent a number of years with Vision Consulting where he was a senior consultant in its eCommerce & Technology group.
