Ron Carter, Senior Product Manager

Carter has joined Proxama, a provider of near field communications (NFC) mobile wallet and mobile marketing technology, as its senior product manager responsible for the development of its mobile wallet business. He brings with him a wealth of experience and innovation from his work in the mobile payments, payment security, internet payments solutions, EMV chip card and authentication solutions sectors.

Prior to joining Proxama, Carter led MasterCard’s development and deployment of Mobile MasterCard PayPass, MasterCard’s mobile phone contactless payments solution. He was responsible for its delivery to major global banks and mobile operators. Previous to MasterCard, Carter spent 15 years product managing the payment security solutions from nCipher, Thales and Racal.
