IT consultancy firm E-MIT Solutions is to create 10 jobs in Dublin following a €650,000 investment to expand its technological services, particularly its IT consultancy, IT security, cloud and infrastructure management.
The company, whose headquarters are in Santry, Dublin, will immediately begin recruiting to fill technical consultant, IT service management, and sales and marketing roles.
E-MIT Solutions plans to fill the new jobs before the end of 2015.
The investment of €650,000 has been said to have come from E-MIT’s reported growth and increased demand this year.
“We are very excited by this expansion and are looking forward to welcoming new members to the team who are just as passionate about IT and business as we are,” said Eamon Moore, managing director of E-MIT Solutions.
As part of the expansion, the consultancy firm also announced the appointment of Finbarr Crowley as a non-executive chairman. Crowley is a founding partner of legal firm Crowley Millar Solicitors and he has also occupied the role of chairman of the IRFU management committee since 2009.
E-MIT Solutions has been the lead partner supporting the SME IT Capability Maturity Framework (SME IT-CMF) at the Innovation and Value Institute (IVI) Maynooth University.
This is a collaboration between the Innovation Technology Centre at Maynooth University and industry, which is seeking to build an IT framework for Irish businesses based on a maturity model approach.
