LAS VEGAS – Sony Ericsson has brought out a new Xperia smartphone based on the latest Android operating system 2.3 ‘Gingerbread’. It describes the arc as a new generation of Experia device for 2011 with HD recording capability.
“We’re starting strong in 2011 by introducing our most exciting Xperia product yet. Xperia arc combines state-of-the-art Sony technology with breath-taking design to entertain and wow consumers. All on the latest Android release,” said Bert Nordberg, president, Sony Ericsson.
Xperia arc is just 8.7mm at its thinnest part and has an extra wide 4.2-inch multi-touch screen.
The device features an 8.1-megapixel camera and HD video-recording capability.
