TomTom releases Top Gear sat nav
TomTom has launched the TomTom GO LIVE Top Gear edition, a sat-nav device with branding and features from the BBC car show.
The sat nav includes selected Top Gear-related points of interest, such as race tracks and raceway locations as seen in the show.
Users can choose to have host Jeremy Clarkson’s voice direct them or can choose The Stig mode, which renders the device silent.
The TomTom GO LIVE Top Gear edition offers one year of TomTom’s LIVE Services for free, which includes TomTom HD Traffic, giving the latest traffic information every two minutes. It also offers detailed incident reports, length of delays and the reason for them.
Speed camera alerts are also included in TomTom’s LIVE Services, as well as TomTom Places, which allows users to pinpoint shops and business in the area.
The TomTom GO LIVE Top Gear edition is available at Halfords for €199.
