The Nokia Lumia 928
Of the few details we know about Nokia’s forthcoming Lumia 928 smartphone, the biggest selling point among them is perhaps the 8.7MP PureView camera, which the Finnish phone-maker has selected to highlight in a teaser video.
To prove its worth, Nokia decided to test the PureView camera’s Carl Zeiss optics and Optical Image Stabilisation when shooting video at night and on a roller-coaster.
Not only does the resulting video showcase the camera’s performance, it also pits the 928 against Apple’s iPhone 5 and Samsung’s Galaxy S III, depicting Nokia’s Lumia handset as the clear winner in this use case.
Aboard The Hurricane in Adventureland, New York, the 928 captures a surprising amount of colour and detail for such a low-light situation. Let’s just hope this is all genuine content from the Lumia 928, as we’ve been had before.
A full reveal of the Lumia 928 is expected on 14 May in London.
