At least five new movies from Sony Pictures – including new war film Fury and the upcoming Annie – have been shared on copyright-infringing file-sharing hubs following last week’s attack by hackers.
DVD screeners of four unreleased Sony movies are being pirated.
According to Variety, Fury, which stars Brad Pitt, has been downloaded by more than 888,000 unique IP addresses since appearing on peer-to-peer networks on 27 November.
Annie is being pirated three weeks ahead of its big-screen debut.
Other movies being pirated include Mr Turner, Still Alice and To Write Love on her Arms.
The attack was discovered last Monday when a picture of a skull appeared on company computer screens. A post also appeared in the /r/ hacking thread on Reddit by a person claiming to be a former Sony Pictures employee and who claimed credit for the attack.
However, the release of the movies to file-sharing sites shows the attacks were more extensive than previously thought.
Hackers last week released lists of zip files of purportedly stolen material, including passwords, visas and identity documents for various actors, including Jonah Hill, Cameron Diaz and Angelina Jolie.
