The culmination of NDRC’s new Swequity Exchange programme will see eight start-ups pitch their ideas competitively in front of an adjudication panel, their mentors and other teams. NDRC’s business mentoring experts chose the most promising ideas from a field of 85 entries; 16 were shortlisted and the final eight selected. NDRC then matched the final eight to a range of qualified voluntary experts and mentors to form teams which worked closely together over a five-week concentrated period. The supporters get equity in the business if it kicks off, while the start-ups get qualified advice and support from the start.
