A hotel on the moon, robotic spouses and the first cloned human are among the top 10 innovations humankind will see by 2050, a new infographic suggests.
The infographic designed by QuantumInfographics that’s published on Visual.ly also estimates, via a percentage, the likelihood of these creations ever coming to fruition by the middle of this century.
By 2050, according to the infographic, it might be possible to download dreams, form a civil partnership with a robot, give birth in space, stay in a hotel on the moon, live to be 150, pollinate crops via robotic insects, clone a human, spray on skin, sport electronic display tattoos, and wear active contact lenses.
The infographic estimates the downloading of dreams has only a 5pc likelihood of happening by 2050, while active contact lenses (like Google Glass, only in contact lens form), has a 90pc chance of becoming a reality.
