LAS VEGAS – Intel has revealed the next generation of tablet computers running on its Atom processor, including tablet computers with Windows 7 and Android.
At the Intel stand at the Consumer Electronics Show, tablet devices from a number of manufacturers, including Fujitsu, Samsung, Avaya and Gentech, all due to debut in the current quarter, were demonstrated, including the sliding PC 7-series notebook/tablet from Samsung.

Samsung PC 7
This device (photo at right) smoothly transforms from a tablet computer running Windows 7 into a fully fledged notebook in one smooth movement, due out in Q1.
Avaya tablet
This Android-based tablet computer is aimed at business professionals whose primary use of the device is communication.
Gemtech
A sleek device currently in the works aimed at personal entertainment.
Intel Razor concept
The keys on the Intel Razor concept device transform themselves in relation to the game you are playing or whether you’re working on a document.
HP Slate
Windows 7-based HP device coming to market this quarter running on Atom.
Dell tablet notebook
Dell Windows 7 device that slides from a tablet into a notebook by swivelling the screen within the frame.
