Harry Moran (12), whom Apple has confirmed as the youngest Mac app developer on the planet

Harry developed a Mac app called PizzaBot that went on sale last Wednesday on the Mac App Store for 79 cents.
“I’ve just consulted with Apple, and I’m officially the (world’s) youngest Mac developer now!” Harry, originally from Agher in Meath and who recently moved to Cork from Westport, explained.

Harry’s game, which was approved for the Mac App Store recently, has been in the top 10 of the action game and new game genres. PizzaBot centres around an innocent slice of pizza that wakes up in a kitchen infested by salami and goes on a quest to free the kitchen of the meaty tyrants.
Harry told Siliconrepublic.com that he only learned how to code in the last three months at Coder Dojo, the initiative by 19-year-old James Whelton and technology entrepreneur Bill Liao aimed at increasing coding talent among Irish schoolchildren.
Harry plans to add a number of seasons (or seasonings) to subsequent versions of his game, which will arrive soon on both the iOS and Android platforms.
