For anyone who has experienced the effects of Alzheimer’s on a family member, this video is sure to strike a chord. Kelly Gunderson’s 87-year-old mother, who at first doesn’t seem quite sure who her daughter is, has a brief moment of clarity that the two of them share with a good old chuckle.

Of course, when Lachlan grows up he may be inflicted with the inability to listen to his parents, which strikes many in their teenage years. For dad of two Will Reid, he has taken to social media to get through to his son and daughter and maybe teach them a thing or two, starting with how to replace the toilet roll when it runs out.
