Integrity Solutions to expand into UK IT security market

29 Sep 2010

Technology provider Integrity Solutions’ recent award of both ISO 9001 and ISO 27001 certification will enable the company to launch into the UK market for security audits, policy design, authentication and regulatory compliance.

The move will fuel continued growth for the company, which recently announced a 65pc increase in revenues from €4.6m in 2008 to €7.7m in 2009.

Certification to these standards is a key requirement for providers of security audits, policy design, authentication and regulatory compliance and will provide strong impetus to Integrity Solutions’ Ireland and UK growth.

For Integrity Solutions, this provides evidence to clients that it meets best practice in relation to information security and that the customer is at the centre of its service provision, increasing the number of tenders that it is eligible to compete for.

“We’ve had a lot of interest from all business sectors in ISO 27001 and having this certification proves to our customers that we strive to achieve the highest standards in security,” said Eoin Goulding, managing director of Integrity Solutions.

“Now we’re primed to capitalise on new opportunities and take our business to the next level.”

Investment

Following an investment of €1.05m to fund the construction of a new network operations centre (NOC) at its Dublin headquarters, the decision to seek certification to ISO 27001 and ISO 9001 was the next stage in the company’s growth plans.

“With a global certification like ISO 27001, Integrity Solutions is now proven to be a lower-risk and lower-cost option for potential customers, as their security credentials are already independently verified and therefore don’t require a costly audit process at the expense of customers and other stakeholders’,” said Sarah O’Donnell, marketing and business development manager, Certification Europe.

“This offers a clear competitive advantage which will deliver benefits to customers and shareholders.”

Goulding concluded: “We achieved a 65pc increase in revenues, from €4.6m in 2008 to €7.7m in 2009.

“With these key certification milestones achieved, we expect to be able to accelerate our expansion in the Irish, and particularly the UK market, and to benefit from an absolutely unique competitive edge in the buoyant Irish outsourced managed security services market.

“We expect that it will make an immediate impact as we seek to meet our ambitious growth targets for 2010.”
