Talented university students from across Ireland talk about their experiences taking part in the Huawei Seeds for the Future STEM programme.
Since 2017, Huawei has been supporting Irish universities students to pursue careers in STEM with its Seeds for the Future programme, which includes mentoring, workshops and scholarships for those who stand out.
Last month, a group of 50 bright students from a variety of backgrounds were invited to attend an awards ceremony for their skills and talent showcased during the 2022 programme. Each student was awarded a cash prize of €5,000 to give them a head start on their careers.
“The awardees come from a diverse range of courses, but all of them have a particular interest in STEM – and all of them were outstanding,” Luke McDonnell, a senior communications manager at Huawei Ireland, told SiliconRepublic.com.
