New information suggests the new 7.85-inch iPad mini tablet computers due to be unveiled around 23 October will start at €249, rising up to €649.
Information that cropped up on a retailer’s ERP system was provided to German blog Flo’s Weblog and suggests there will be eight variants of the device.
The listing indicates the new iPad mini will come in either black or white and either Wi-Fi only or cellular plus Wi-Fi and in 8GB, 16GB, 32GB and 64GB capacities.
The basic model starting at €249 will be Wi-Fi only with 8GB capacity. The most expensive model at €649 will have 64GB of storage capacity and will be Wi-Fi and cellular.
It is expected that the devices won’t be Retina-based but it is likely that in terms of cellular capability they will be geared ideally towards LTE-based networks.
Last week, a blogger working as a researcher for 9to5Mac leaked images on Twitter of what appeared to be an iPad mini on top of a regular-sized iPad.
