Retargeting platform AdRoll has launched a new office in London to be led by former Google country manager for Italy, Michael Bertaut.
Following its European launch in Dublin last year, AdRoll has set its sights on London as a centrepoint for growth in EMEA.
“Within EMEA, London is the ultimate hub for ad-tech and home to the UK’s largest media agencies, so opening an office here is an essential part of our global expansion strategy,” said CEO Aaron Bell.
“Following our launch in Dublin last year, we’ve already seen strong demand and results from European advertisers and we are on a mission to drive this momentum even further,” he added.
London is a natural next step for the digital marketing company, as its UK customer base has grown 251pc in the past year alone. Overall, AdRoll now serves more than 15,000 customers in more than 100 countries.
According to the latest IAB Europe AdEx Benchmark, online advertising grew 11.9pc to a market value of €27.3bn in 2013. As the industry expands, so too will AdRoll, with plans to grow from 100 to 250 employees across its two European offices over the course of the next year.
AdRoll’s first London hire, Bertaut, will lead the charge as managing director of EMEA strategic sales and is the latest in a series of AdRoll executives to join from Google.
