Legal firm Lavelle Coleman Solicitors has awarded a €100,000 managed services and Citrix Xen App remote access rollout contract to Trilogy Technologies.

The law firm, which employs 60 people, has moved all its users to a Citrix platform that standardises all users to the same platform.

The platform also gives remote access to partners who wish to work from home.

Since Lavelle Coleman uses Keyhouse as its case management software, Trilogy recommended Citrix Xen App for all users. The solution integrates with Keyhouse, all office and Sage applications.

The managed services solution provides Lavelle Coleman with a larger outsourced IT department with multiple engineers who can assist them with an issue.

“Like any modern legal firm, we depend on good systems for efficiency and to maximise the productive use of professionals’ time,” said Marc Fitzgibbon, senior partner at Lavelle Coleman.

“We needed a solution that would keep all data centralised and enable users to work remotely and have the same access as if they were working from our offices.

“Also, we wanted a more comprehensive approach to IT which would allow us to utilise Trilogy Technologies’ range of skill sets and managed services tools to deep dive into the server infrastructure for proactive monitoring, alerting and fixing,” Fitzgibbon said.
