The Doro PhoneEasy 621
Just ahead of the launch of its second smartphone, Swedish mobile maker Doro has brought out a new 3G feature phone with a camera aimed at seniors, the PhoneEasy 621.
The device – which comes in two colour combinations of burgundy/white and black/graphite – also sees Doro introduce an easy-to-use video camera with the ability to send video messages.
The device provides the user with many inherent design benefits, such as extra loud, clear and amplified sounds with HAC, plus adjustable text size, fonts and colours.
The colour screen is large, bright and exceptionally clear. Bluetooth connectivity means the handset can be used with a headset or earpiece.
Another functional benefit is that the device can accommodate a Micro SD memory card – enabling content, such as photos, to be manually transferred onto other devices.
“Our new feature phone provides an attractive handset option for those users who don’t want a complicated device,” explained Doro’s UK and Ireland managing director Chris Millington.
“It provides a high-quality, easy-to-use camera with video capability – which is something our user research identified as a desirable function.”
The launch of the 3G devices comes during a year when the company is set to launch its second smartphone.
“As a business we are actively developing our ‘easy smart’ propositions and continue to develop feature phones for all types of user. This model offers a fun and stylish option, with enhanced functions while remaining true to our easy focus,” Millington said.
