The shortlist of organisations and websites in the running for an award at this year’s Irish Internet Association Dot IE Net Visionary Awards is now live. Voting will take place over the next 72 hours.
This year sees a new twist to these awards, with just five categories being decided by a public vote, and the remaining categories decided by the panel of 15 industry expert judges.
Voting opens today for just 72 hours. The shortlist can be accessed online.
The Dot IE Net Visionary Awards, now in their 15th year, will be held on Friday, 27 September, at the Smock Alley Theatre’s Banquet Hall.
“This week is an exciting one that will test the mettle of those shortlisted for the public vote,” said Irish Internet Association CEO Joan Mulvihill.
“With public voting open for just 72 hours, the shortlisted companies are in a tight sprint to the finish to garner as many votes as they can. The increased judging panel, from six to 15 judges, means that the entries from the remaining 10 categories will be equally tested and hotly contested in the final stages of judging next month.”
