St Patrick’s Festival goers can gobble up all the information they need to enjoy the five days of festivities and even watch the St Patrick’s Day parade in Dublin through an app, the St. Patrick’s Festival Guide.
The St. Patrick’s Festival Guide is available for iPhone and Android users. Festival goers can go to the St Patrick’s Festival website and scan bar codes on the site into their smartphones to automatically find the free app in the App Store or Android Market.
The app contains full event listings, an interactive map, a live Twitter feed link, and it will have a live feed of the St Patrick’s Day parade on 17 March.
So far, the St. Patrick’s Festival Guide has garnered mostly positive reviews on the Android Market.
“Nice app – all you need to know about the St Patrick’s Festival in Dublin – the events are all clearly listed,” wrote one user named Shane. “The live video looks promising and I like the integration of Twitter and Facebook … well done St Patrick’s Festival.”
The St Patrick’s Festival runs 16-20 March.
