Damovo reveals €4.5m in ICT deals so far this year

10 Mar 2011

Enterprise ICT provider Damovo has revealed it has secured €4.5m in new service contracts for 2011 involving more than 100 private and public sector organisations and 134,000 individual communications ports which it will manage.

The company says it is experiencing significant demand from Irish businesses looking to outsource the management of their IT infrastructures and applications.

Customers include the ESB and IT Blanchardstown.

Damovo provides proactive remote and onsite management of all types of ICT systems, including voice, data, unified communications and business applications.

Much of Damovo’s success this year is due to the fact it has redesigned its service portfolio, adding much more flexibility and lower-cost options.

Growth in unified comms

The company predicts growth for unified communications sales in 2011, with businesses looking to improve collaboration and achieve significant cost savings from their voice, data and video communications.

“Following a difficult year in 2010, we re-focused our business to concentrate on activities where we could provide more tangible value to Irish companies,” said Mary Bradshaw, managing director, Damovo Ireland.

“It became quickly obvious that managing ICT infrastructures is our core area of strength.

“To achieve leadership in the Irish market, we are constantly developing more customised service offerings and are investing in our service team to ensure they have the highest levels of relevant skills and accreditations.

“Our policy seems to be working with so many new service contract wins and we are looking forward to growing profits significantly this year,” Bradshaw said.
