The Jelly Bean Factory, producer of gourmet jelly beans delighting taste buds across the world, has renewed its electricity and gas supply deal with Energia with new terms of achieving 100pc green energy.
The €300,000 deal will see Energia provide The Jelly Bean Factory site in the IDA Business & Technology Park, Blanchardstown, Dublin, with 100pc green electricity.
“The Jelly Bean Factory is committed to sustainability and we have recently registered our interest in Origin Green, Ireland’s national sustainability development programme for the food and drink industry,” said Peter Cullen, joint managing director of The Jelly Bean Factory.
The Jelly Bean Factory has also signed up to Energia’s online management tool, Energia Premium, which will allow it to analyse energy data and monitor and identify efficiencies and savings.
Energia powers more than 65,000 Irish businesses with both conventional and renewable electricity and provides gas through dual fuel deals, giving it a 28pc share of the business electricity and gas market across the whole island of Ireland.
