Telecommunications company AirSpeed Telecom has been awarded significant contracts to deliver high-speed uncontended internet and significant bandwidth services to fruit and vegetable wholesale companies Donnelly Fruit and Veg and Country Crest.
Until now, due to the lack of a fibre network in the area, high-capacity services were unavailable to businesses in North Co Dublin, where Donnelly Fruit and Veg and Country Crest are located.
Donnelly Fruit and Veg procures, packs and distributes fresh fruit and vegetables from Irish growers and worldwide suppliers to its retail customers. Located in St Margaret’s, the business had a need for a dedicated high-bandwidth internet connection to provide it with access to its customers and suppliers worldwide. The licensed wireless solution from AirSpeed Telecom has brought significant benefit to the reliability of communications between Donnelly Fruit and Veg and their customers and has proved invaluable for the company’s mobile staff, from PDA synchronisation to accessing their data network.

Country Crest is a family business located near Lusk, which supplies potatoes, onions and carrots to major multiples across Ireland. A new 5Mb connection from AirSpeed Telecom provides the company with guaranteed, fast, and reliable connectivity.
