Financial services provider Fidelity Investments is to add 100 new positions at its facilities in Galway and Dublin.
The company plans to hire 100 highly skilled professionals, from entry to management levels. The new employees will work in software development, such as Java and .NET, performance and test engineering, database development and management, systems analysis and quality assurance, to add to the Fidelity Technology Group (FTG).
FTG is responsible for the company’s technology research, services and operations. The roles will focus on investment management and corporate enterprise technology solutions for Fidelity’s global operations.
FTG delivers a range of technology projects, including monitoring and trading, voice-recognition systems, user interface design, business process management (BPM), workflow transaction processing, fund pricing and market data technology.
The initiative, which is sponsored by IDA Ireland, is part of an €11m investment by Fidelity over a three-year period.

Fidelity Investments, which was established in Ireland in 1996, currently employs more than 240 technology associates.
