PopCap Games has released Zuma Blitz on Facebook, giving players the first competitive and co-operative version of Zuma.
This marks PopCap’s second social game on Facebook, alongside Bejeweled Blitz.
Zuma has been compressed into a one-minute, high-speed game where users can compete with friends across Facebook by exploding as many balls as possible during that time.
New features include weekly tournaments and leaderboards, the introduction of new levels each week and an experience points system to unlock new power ups and abilities.
There are also Time Extenders, score multipliers and a “Hot Frog” speed mode for section clearing super shots.
Zuma Blitz also offers extra information on the performances and status of Facebook friends, such as medals won, achievements earned and experience level.
