The Panasonic DMC-FZ45 has arrived, a 14.1-megapixel hybrid digital compact camera and the latest addition to the Lumix range.

The new LSI Venus Engine HD II offers a high picture quality in both photo and HD movie recording modes.

The manual control of the FZ45 has incorporated a new jog dial, making operation easier. A focus button allows users to switch from photo to movie mode and utilises numerous options, such as Creative Movie mode and My Color mode.

The Intelligent Auto mode includes POWER O.I.S (Optical Image Stabiliser) which features double the repression power compared to the standard image stabilisation system, MEGA O.I.S, helping to eliminate blurry photography caused by shaky hands.
