Top Hollywood and Silicon Valley executives are en route to Northern Ireland, where the successful TV show Game of Thrones is being filmed, to help cement the region’s reputation as a major international film and TV hub.
The ITLG “Hollywood Comes to Belfast” event on Saturday, 5 November, comes in the wake of the recent ITLG “Innovation in Entertainment” event in LA.
It also comes after the successful 4th Annual Silicon Valley Comes to Ireland event at Dublin City University in October.
A public event will take place at the University of Ulster Belfast campus on 5 November and it will feature senior executives, such as executive VP in charge of Digital Entertainment BBC Worldwide Americas Robert Nashak, Dreamworks’ CIO Sean O’Donoghue, ITLG founder John Hartnett, Irish Technology Capital general partner John Stanton, digital and emerging media adviser at Untitled Entertainment Jon Michael Bukosky, and Antony Clark, head of future business innovation at Sony.
