Apple’s World Wide Developers Conference will take place June 7-11 this year, the company has announced. The World Wide Developers Conference (WWDC) is an annual event for the company’s third-party developer community.
The site of the gathering will be the Moscone Center in San Francisco, California.
This year will see the very first sessions on making applications for the new iPad tablet computer. The new iPhone OS 4 and Mac OS X will be the topics of other sessions.
Who will give the traditional keynote speech on the opening day of the event has yet to be announced.
Traditionally, the opening WWDC keynote speech has been the event where Apple announces details about the next version of the iPhone, including sales dates and specs.
