Google’s next flagship smartphone will run on Android 4.0 (Ice Cream Sandwich), will have a 720p resolution display and won’t have menu keys, a report says.
According to BGR, the next Google device, code named Prime, may feature a 720p resolution screen called ‘Super AMOLED HD.’ It also suggests Samsung will be behind the hardware of the device.
The phone may run on Android 4.0 – Ice Cream Sandwich – and will not have any carrier preloads or OEM customisation.
It may not include physical menu keys and could either feature a dual core 1.2GHz or 1.5GHz CPU.
The Nexus Prime could also have 1080p HD video-capturing capabilities and an advanced 5-megapixel rear camera.
Google could be preparing an onslaught of Android 4.0 devices, as the company may be working with US networks and OEMs for its own exclusive Ice Cream Sandwich smartphone, all launching around the same time.
