During her Inspirefest 2015 keynote address, Dr Lucy Rogers, author of It’s Only Rocket Science, spoke about her career path from engineering to rocket science.
She also spoke about the many dangers that we face as space debris becomes more plentiful. Picture Gravity, she said, and then picture it getting worse. As space debris surrounds the planet, we are increasingly likely to get cut off from satellites that are essential to life as we know it.
