The OnePlus 2 is planned to be unveiled in a few weeks’ time, but details have emerged showing three variants of the new device have been registered.
The Bluetooth certification body’s website shows the A2001, A2003 and A2005 all documented, with the former recently the subject of a leaked benchmark result that showed a Snapdragon 810 processor.
That’s the processor that many will have read ‘overheating’ issues about, although OnePlus seems happy that it has overcome such difficulties.
The company says that “after rigorous testing, the OnePlus 2 meets the industry standard for phone temperature, even with hours of use”.
Meanwhile, leaked drawings of the devices on Business Insider show things like a dual-lens camera on the back just above the fingerprint sensor, stainless steel frames, Type C connectors and a front-facing 8mp camera.
It looks like the A2003 will come with 4GB of RAM, with the weird invite system reintroduced for buyers of the devices.
