On the back of a fairly busy September, Apple’s October is looking full to the brim, too, as the company is all set to release a new 4K iMac, according to reports.
Last month, the tech giant unveiled the iPhone 6 and 6 Plus, both almost guaranteed to sell well.
It then released iOS 9.0.1, before making OS X El Capitan available at the end of the month.
And now the 4K iMac is reportedly set for release next week in the US.
The 21.5-inch iMacs will look identical to their predecessor, according to 9to5mac, but will ship with a new 4,096×2,304 screen and much faster graphics cards.
“Apple has also been working on a new Magic Mouse 2 with Force Touch integration, and a new Bluetooth Keyboard with improved battery life, but it is currently unclear if those accessories are ready to launch alongside the new Mac,” according to the report.
It’s not just product releases that Apple has been getting involved in of late, either. Earlier this week, the company announced the purchase of AI start-up Perceptio, a company that specialises in deep learning, as its push towards internet of things (IoT) technologies continues.
It also bought Vocal IQ, a natural language processing company, last week, with Mapsense snapped up over the summer.
These acquisitions are all linked to as yet unreleased products, such as the Apple electric car, which the Cupertino powerhouse recently revealed was set for a 2019 launch.
