Facebook has released it’s review of 2015, a cool video showing the year’s highlights, like Senator David Norris cheering in Ireland’s marriage referendum, and lowlights, like the Paris attacks and natural disasters around the world.

Creatively cut with Facebook paraphernalia, events like the Charlie Hebdo shooting and Nepal’s earthquake open proceedings, with the Paris attacks closing it off in an envelope of grim proceedings.

But, in between, things like The Rock dancing, Back to the Future’s future date and Jon Snow’s ‘surely he’s dead’ death on Game of Thrones show us that it wasn’t all doom and gloom – unless you consider fictional characters maybe/maybe not deaths are gloomy.
New Zealand winning the Rugby World Cup, Barcelona winning the Champions League and Manny Pacquiao losing to Floyd Mayweather are some of the sports highlights, while Ed Sheeran catching an Irish flag on stage makes an appearance, too.
