Shaw Academy, an education technology company with a base in Ireland, has announced the creation of 40 new positions at its Dublin office.
Shaw Academy has an eLearning centre at Eastpoint, with offices elsewhere in the world and, with around 200 employees globally, the 40 additional staff comes as part of a 100-strong expansion by the company.
The 40 roles will be filled by the summer, with the company needing bodies to help support a service that teaches tens of thousands of new students every month.
Now four years old, the Irish company was co-founded by James Egan and Adrian Murphy, with significant expansion to get to this point expected to continue.
“The ongoing global demand for quality skills and education in a condensed interactive live format is key to our continued expansion and growth,” said Murphy.
Courses with Shaw Academy often target skills gaps – areas such as digital marketing and mobile app development – so services like this could be strategically prosperous to the country,
