Lastminute.com co-founder Brent Hoberman’s Founders Factory in London is running a summer accelerator backed by L’Oreal and Aviva for 20 early-stage beauty tech and fintech start-ups.
Irish start-ups are being urged to apply and applications for this cohort close on 30 June.
As part of the programme, start-ups will receive £30,000 in capital.
They will also receive dedicated support from a 30-strong product, engineering, business development and fundraising team.
Particularly valuable will be the six months worth of office space in South Kensington in London.
Hoberman is a British entrepreneur who started Lastminute.com in 1998 with Martha Lane Fox.
He floated the company and then sold it to Sabre for £577m in 2005. Sabre sold the company last year to the Bravofly Rumbo Group for £120m.
Hoberman, who received a CBE in 2015 for his services to entrepreneurship, is also a co-founder of Founders Forum, a private network for digital and technology entrepreneurs.
