Founded in 2002 in Utah, Qualtrics’ international headcount has grown to 1,900. It has now laid out plans to expand its EMEA HQ team in Dublin.
Experience management software-as-a-service (SaaS) firm Qualtrics has revealed today (24 August) that is to hire 350 at its European headquarters in Dublin.
This announcement comes just as the HQ celebrates the fifth anniversary of its arrival to Ireland.
These hires will be made over the next four years, bringing the firm’s total employee headcount in Ireland to 600.
The announcement was made by Qualtrics CEO and co-founder Ryan Smith, who addressed employees at the company’s EMEA HQ yesterday evening.
Smith lauded the contribution of the Dublin-based team to the company’s growth over the past five years, noting that the success of the European wing “surpassed every expectation [the company] set”.
He added: “We now work with over 1,500 organisations in EMEA … but we’re just getting started and, by expanding our footprint, we expect to continue to grow at a rapid pace.”
Qualtrics creates a system of record for experience data. It allows organisations to manage what it calls the four core experiences of business: customer, product, employee and brand experiences. All of this can be managed on the firm’s one platform.
Qualtrics boasts a staggering 9,000 enterprises on its client roster, including 75pc of the Fortune 100. Since being founded in Utah in 2002, the company has grown to 1,900 employees globally.
To facilitate this employee growth, Qualtrics will be expanding its offices in Dublin’s city centre. These offices oversee the company’s sales, engineering, support, services and client success operations in EMEA.
Construction is underway on a new building at Clarendon Row and is due to be finished in 2020.
Simon O’Kane, managing director of Qualtrics in EMEA, stressed that it needs “exceptional people” for its sales, support and technical teams.
