Luck of the Irish: Silicon Valley’s top 50 Irish-Americans in tech

For the day that’s in it, check out the Irish Technology Leadership Group’s 2012 listing of the 50 most influential Irish and Irish-American people in the technology world.

The listing of the 50 top executives includes top leaders, such as former Intel CEO and chairman Craig Barrett, Bloomberg Television’s Margaret Brennan, Apple’s chief information officer Niall O’Connor and Stripe’s John Collison.

Facebook’s director of Global Business Partnerships Adele Cooper also features, along with Facebook’s director of online operations Colm Long and ‘Mr China’, PCH International’s Liam Casey.

Foursquare’s Dennis Crowley is on the list, along with Jacinta Tobin and John Herlihy from Google, Disney’s Una Fox, HP’s Martin Murphy and Paul Rellis from Microsoft.

It also includes George Moore, founder of TARGUSInfo, which he sold in recent weeks to Neustar for an estimated US$580m. Other notables on the list include Sony’s chief transformation officer George Bailey and Andreessen Horowitz’s John O’Farrell.
