Cork-based firm Voxpro acquired by Telus International

Telus International has acquired Voxpro.

Cork-headquartered BPO company Voxpro is joining the Telus International team, and will now operate as ‘Voxpro –powered by Telus International’.

The news comes after the opening of Voxpro’s new office in the Point Village in Dublin last November, and international expansion in the United States and the Philippines.

Voxpro CEO and co-founder Dan Kiely, who is joining the senior leadership team at Telus International, said: “It’s an extremely special day for us and for all of our partners, team members and, indeed, everyone in the Voxpro community.

Telus International CEO and president, Jeffrey Puritt, spoke about the shared ethos of both companies, describing the move as a “partnership of like-minded organisations”.

He added: “Together, we provide a truly differentiated offering in the marketplace designed to meet our fast-growing partner demands for more locations, flexible and agile support structures, and highly engaged multilingual team members committed to customer service excellence.”

Approximately 2,700 Voxpro team members will join Telus International, bringing the combined employee base to almost 28,000 people, working with customers in more than 35 languages worldwide.

Both companies have been internationally recognised for their work, with Telus International recently named Outsourcing Provider of the Year at the 2017 Call Centre Week Excellence Awards, while Voxpro was named as one of Ireland’s Best Managed Companies by Deloitte.
