Uniphar Group, a provider of services to the healthcare and pharmaceutical sectors, which has agreed to a long-term partnership with high-tech primary care network Point of Care (POC), has announced the creation of 20 new high-tech nursing jobs over the next two years.
The partnership follows a successful round of investment in POC and was described as something that could strengthen POC’s distribution network across Ireland.
“This agreement will allow Point of Care to expand our community care services for our patients, as well as creating 20 new high-tech nursing roles over the coming 18-24 months.
“The partnership strengthens our distribution network and pharmacy capabilities across Ireland,” said Jim Joyce, CEO, POC.
POC provides one-to-one nursing care within the local community and delivers patient services through infusion, injection and vaccinations, helping patients deal with illnesses such as arthritis, Crohn’s disease and multiple sclerosis.
