As part of its second round of recruitment for 2015, Kilkenny-based TransferMate is looking to fill another 25 positions immediately to continue growing its Irish operations.
The company had previously announced the creation of 25 jobs last January as part of the first round of recruitment and has since filled these positions. This recruitment round will bring the total number of people employed by TransferMate in Ireland to 130 and globally to 150.
The 25 positions will be Irish-based, dealing with TransferMate’s global client base, with additional positions also opening up in multiple cities overseas, the company said.
In terms of the roles on offer, TransferMate said the company is primarily looking to fill in-house and field-based sales roles.
Following considerable success in the last year, the Irish-owned foreign exchange brokers expanded its teams in its US, Australia and UK offices.
Speaking of the announcement, Barry Dowling, managing director of TransferMate, said: “We knew that 2015 was going to be a good year for our business. We are constantly expanding our customer base and as such we are expanding our team to keep pace with our growth.
“Last summer we celebrated transferring more than US$5bn in foreign currency transfers for clients — that’s a stunning endorsement of how our business is growing and it wouldn’t be possible without the great team of people we have working with us.”
