A whopping 185 new jobs have been announced across six separate IDA-backed businesses in Dublin and Wexford, spread across a number of sectors and a range of areas, including technology, fintech, business analytics and medical devices.
The jobs are made up of 50 at NuoDB, 30 each at Artisan Infrastructure, DataClarity amd Modern Marketing Concepts, 25 at CRI and 20 at Megatransfert.
“IDA Ireland’s strategy of attracting high-growth companies has resulted in the creation of high-value jobs in IT, internet and digital media, which has greatly added to Ireland’s reputation as a global tech centre,” said Martin Shanahan, IDA Ireland’s CEO.
“Many companies that started out with modest plans are now some of the top employers in Ireland, making a significant contribution to the economy.
“IDA Ireland looks forward to continuing to partner closely with this new group of companies as they scale their global footprint from Ireland.”
IT jobs in Dublin and Wexford
NuoDB – which provides SQL database technology for global operations – is opening its EMEA development centre in Dublin, while also opening up an office in Belfast that includes a separate 20 roles. Developers, engineers and technical support staff will be recruited over the next three years.
“We are investing in NuoDB EMEA to expand our global reach to better support our enterprise customers and meet the demand for our innovative solution,” said Barry Morris, chief executive officer and co-founder of NuoDB. “By establishing our presence in Ireland, we’ll be able to grow our product development team and work with some of the best and brightest talent in Dublin and Belfast.”
Artisan Infrastructure, which works in cloud management software, also announced its EMEA headquarters in Dublin, recruiting IT staff, while French fintech firm Megatransfert specialises in the area of micropayments via prepaid cards, TCom-payment, e-money, e-wallet and m-wallet solutions.
Software specialist jobs in Dublin and Wexford
Modern Marketing Concepts – a sales optimisation company – also established its EMEA HQ in Dublin today, with recruitment already underway to build a sales and marketing team at its offices in Sandyford, Dublin.
DataClarity, which is hiring in the ICT area, specialises in software applications that enhance and transforms corporate data into actionable information through proven performance management software, consulting and educational services.
Meanwhile CRI, a global full-service medical device manufacturer, announced the creation of 25 new jobs over the next three years at its Wexford facility.
