Consulting, IT support, development and cloud management roles are among the 50 jobs recently created by IIS Group.
Announced last week, the 50 jobs are on top of the 30 already created by the company earlier this year, with “a raft” of more roles expected in 2016.
The skilled appointments will be filled in the SAP Gold Partner’s headquarters in Ireland – bagging 32 of the new roles – and in other offices across the UK (10), the Netherlands (3) and Poland (5).
More IT jobs in Ireland
IIS has told Silicon Republic that the “ultimate breakdown of the roles will depend on the candidates”, however, the plan, across all four countries, is as follows:
- Sales and marketing: 6
- Project management: 3
- Support: 5
- Consulting: 12
- Development: 5
- Finance: 2
- Inside sales: 4
- Internal IT: 2
- HR and admin: 4
- Quality control: 2
- Strategic cloud and channel team: 5
As we reported last week, IIS filled the 30 positions announced earlier this year thanks to 40pc growth in its operations.
“IIS now requires a further 50 people to satisfy demand,” said Morgan Browne, chief executive at IIS. “This has been driven by the economic upturn both in Ireland and on the continent.”
“We’ve seen that companies are now confident in investing in IIS solutions based on SAP technology and the long-term benefits this can deliver to a growing, ambitious enterprise.”
IIS Group is a Dublin-based operation that provides business management software.
