Car manufacturer Nissan has recently unveiled an electric vehicle built to cater for short-distance drivers.
Nissan unveiled the all-electric vehicle – the new mobility concept – in Japan in advance of the 2011 roll out of its LEAF electric vehicle.
The New Mobility Concept, which resembles a Smart Car, was built to achieve a “sustainable zero-emissions society” and cater for people travelling shorter distances in their vehicles.
“It will be a sustainable, efficient and convenient mode of transportation focusing on the increase of elderly and single households, as well as the trend of driving short distances or in smaller groups. Nissan New Mobility Concept is our proposal to make this a reality,” the company said.
