Siliconrepublic.com editor John Kennedy will be at the GSMA Mobile World Congress 2010 this week in Barcelona, Spain, and will be reporting on the key developments to emerge from the Oscars of the mobile world.
The GSMA Mobile World Congress kicks off Monday, 15 February, and will be attended by more than 55,000 mobile industry professionals.
In 2009, Mobile World Congress hosted about 47,000 mobile professionals from 182 countries. More than 50pc of these were C-Level executives, and 9,000 of them represented mobile network operators from around the world.
As well as the Global Mobile Awards, the event will feature a conference that will include keynotes from Google CEO Eric Schmidt, Vodafone’s Vittorio Calao and Ben Verwaayen of Alcatel-Lucent.
Siliconrepublic.com will provide reports and analysis from the conference on the latest devices, concepts and strategies that will define the mobile world in 2010.
