MyDealPage.ie has launched Ireland’s first dedicated daily deal directory app which makes it easy to find the best offers you like from Groupon, LivingSocial, GrabOne and more.
Within days, the app has gained popularity and is climbing the ranks of the ‘Top Free’ category in iTunes.
“MyDealPage.ie has new deals every day, and our visitors browse the site during their commute into work, in the office, at lunch time or at home,” the site’s owner Charles Maltha explained.
“Though our website is optimised for mobile browsing, the app gives users an even better experience to find the best offers for them. For example, the MyDealPage app allows you to quickly find deals within close proximity based on your phone’s GPS location. This feature in combination with the category filters enables you to find a restaurant deal just around the corner from your current location.”
An increasing number of people are buying smartphones and are using them to browse the web. “We are seeing an increase in the percentages of users who visit us from their handheld devices. In the last month, 19pc of our traffic came from a mobile device, with more than 65pc of visits coming from an Apple device, such as an iPhone or iPad.
“It was this trend that made us decide to invest in smartphone apps and from the response so far we believe users will find it easier to browse the deals and find specific offers they want to see from their mobile device,” Maltha said.
