Colourful mice, clip-on HD webcams and cases that are as stylish as they are protective are all available in HP’s new range of products for students heading back to school this autumn.

Designer mice

The special edition Expressions Collection of mice features a range of HP X4000 wireless mice in five different designs, including one signature pattern designed by Brazilian fashion designer Alexandre Herchcovitch.

Featuring geometric designs and bold colours, these mice are built for ambidextrous use, with rubber sides for a comfortable grip and a laser sensor. The X4000 works up to nine metres away from the connected device and claims up to 30 months of battery life.

Compact clip-on HD webcams

HP’s new series of compact HD webcams is also aimed at students who might want to video chat with the folks back home when on the go. The range starts at €19.99 for a basic clip-on camera with a 360-degree swivel up to the high-end Skype-certified HD 5210 with 1080p full HD video calling capability.

The new webcams also come with one-click uploading to networks like Facebook and YouTube, while the HD 3300 and HD 3310 feature three-way video calling software and three quick-launch buttons for instant access to common tasks.

Pack it in

Some accessories are more essential than others, and students on the move will always need a sturdy bag to cart their precious laptop around in. HP’s new Signature Backpack fits most 16-inch notebooks and comes with multilayer padding, including a reinforced padded bottom, plus numerous compartments for added storage.

For users whose style is more business-like than sporty, there’s the Signature Slim Brief and Signature Top-Load for 14-inch laptops and the Authentic Top-Load for 16-inch laptops. These cases provide protection with water-resistant exteriors, detachable shoulder straps, cushioned handles, and up to 11 additional pockets.
