Skype will arrive on the PlayStation Vita from tomorrow, letting owners of Sony’s newest portable console make video calls from the device.
The app lets users make Skype-to-Skype voice and video calls, as well as calls to landlines and mobiles using either the Wi-Fi only or 3G and Wi-Fi models of the PS Vita.
It has a background mode, which lets users run Skype while they play a video game or use other apps. Users can also pause their game or app and slide over to Skype or slide from Skype back to their game.
Skype is the latest social app to arrive on the PS Vita, joining the likes of Facebook, Twitter and Foursquare.
It’ll be available for free on the PlayStation Store from tomorrow.
