The Contact Centre Management Association (CCMA) will host a free contact centre and outsourcing jobs fair next week, which will have more than 20 companies with more than 500 jobs on offer.
The fair will offer attendees information on seeking employment in the contact centre sector. Companies such as Accenture, Dell, PayPal, SAP, ServiceSource, UPC, Zynga, Concentrix, Performance Marketing, VoxPro and Zevas will attend the jobs fair.
There will also be training opportunities on offer with the CCMA Ireland Skillnet with free seminars outlining the range of programmes available. The programmes trains job seekers in skills needed for the sector and offers direct access to employers through work placements.
According to CCMA, more than 600 job seekers completed training under the CCMA Ireland Skillnet Jobseekers Support Programme, of which 400 managed to secure permanent jobs in the sector.
“With over 30,000 people currently employed in the contact centre and outsourcing industry, forecasts for growth are strong,” said Dorothy O’Byrne, managing director of the CCMA.
“We want to showcase the opportunities for employment and career advancement that are available in this vibrant sector and encourage job seekers from other sectors to consider this sector for employment.”
The free contact centre and outsourcing jobs fair will take place on 27 March from 10am to 8pm at the Burlington Hotel in Dublin.
